Company Background

The company’s business was founded by Mr. Chalakorn Ekachaipatanakul (Au) and Mr. Jirayuth Puwapoonpol (Jo), who share a passion for integrating modern agricultural techniques with traditional farming methods. Their background in agricultural families further inspired their vision.

This inspiration led them to invest in an agricultural business together, starting their first vegetable plot in 2010 with the core philosophy of organic farming and natural methods. Their approach focused on sustainable farming without relying on chemicals, considering the soil, produce, ecosystem, family, and community. They began with common kitchen herbs and some salad greens, using the produce for family meals because they wanted their loved ones to enjoy healthy food without the risk of chemical residues. This vision gave rise to the slogan “Growing Vegetables Because We Love Mom” and the brand name “Ohkajhu” derived from the founders’ nicknames “Ou and Jo.” They opened their first restaurant branch in Sansai in 2013. Additionally, Mr. Woradeth SuchaiBunsiri (Tong), one of the co-founders with expertise in engineering, applied his knowledge of agricultural machinery, greenhouse construction, and organic fertilizer production. His contributions helped the company increase production capacity and efficiency, allowing it to expand its cultivation areas and grow the business to its current scale.

Business Philosophy

“FAITH” is a powerful word. Eating fresh vegetables without chemicals out of love for our mother earth requires devotion, trust, and harmony. We grow the vegetables ourselves with care and consideration, carefully harvesting them by hand. We know that fresh vegetables grown with love is an important foundation for physical and mental well-being.
